Sitting Pretty

Sitting Pretty black and white, pomegrante, photography/black and white
People either love or hate this image, so I figure that is good, as it's at least getting a reaction. I was told it was unattractive and that an ugly pomegranate had no place sitting in a fancy porcelain bowl. Oddly enough, that is exactly the reason I put it there and the mirror beneath to make it look like it was on a pedestal. It's about looking beyond the surface. The rough and unrefined skin of the pomegranate, holds beautiful treasures inside. Old saying "Beauty is only skin deep". Look beyond the surface and you may find unexpected jewels.
