Day 16

Day 16 chicadee,black-capped, bird, photography/bird
Dedicated to Harry122 for his awesome bird pictures also to Kimbomac for hers, I went out to try and get some birds of my own. I only got 2 birds, a red-breasted nut-hatch, which wasn't quite as clear as I would have hoped, and this cute black capped chickadee. Common and on a bird feeder to boot, really brought home how difficult it is to get great pics of birds in the wild. My hat goes off to both of you. Respect!

Today's alternative is not very exciting, but brought a bit of color to the dreary day. You can see it Here

I love the way you displayed this cute little bird with plenty of white space and interesting fades.

Oh, thank you for the dedication. Your little guy is so sweet, and as always, I love your sense of beauty and design in the way you present them. This is just lovely and I really like the look of him against the stark white, as it's so different than what we would get here! Nice work!

Fantastic captires. They are just perfect. I really like the simple, uncluttered feel about this set.

He's a very wary looking little guy. I find the stark white a little odd, it would be nice to see some blurred trees or other details in the background

So this is what a chickadee looks like. He is so beautiful. Seems like he was just waiting around for you to come and take his photo. I didn't know that some birds hang around during the winter. I thought all birds fly somewhere warmer. I love your framing also, you sure know how to put things together so that they make each other pop. You have got to teach me that. :-)

Oh, so cute.Having a bird feeder is very rewarding, I think. We have them all over the house, on of them is directly on my windowsill. Lovely collage.

He really knows how to balance himself on his spindly legs! I think he's posing for you :)

I love chickadee's. We don't have a feeder so I haven't got anything near as nice as this.
