I spent a couple hours shooting everything that was eaten or drunk for this New Year's Eve, but then decided I liked the cat and the champagne images the most. I have several outtakes of the real food ingested today that you can see you if follow this link here.

Both are very pretty shots but I also think the second one is very classy. What fun doing combinations; I look forward to seeing more of them.

The warm and inviting feeling of your images is beautiful. I love the background blurry light points and the general festive atmosphere of both. The cat is just precious.
And your outtakes are gorgeous too. Looks like you guys ate and drank some classy stuff for New Year.

Great start maggie! I truly admire your theme, the rest of us only have to manage one image a day, but you've committed yourself to 2 or more! If they're all as good as this one, you'll have a great body of work by the end.

Is that cat old enough to drink champagne? It sounds like you have made an interesting theme. I have problems doing diptychs or triptychs so I will be checking out how you do yours.
