After the January 31 day challenge, everyone that finished was invited to participate in one final challenge where we competed against each other. My first idea was to create a collage of this tiny wire tree I made (that is just a bit over 3 inches tall) and my concept was going to be to portray the 4 seasons with the same tree. I started with the winter tree, and OH BOY! believe me, it was a tremendous mess. Much more than I had anticipated. Sugar, cornstarch and water makes lots of goo and is not fun to clean up at all. The idea of creating 3 more seasons just made me dread the amount of work it would take.
I decided to go with a simpler approach. The Love Tree.
I totally LOVE this one! It's just wonderful and the swirling and billowing snow and lines and beautiful pale blue winter colours are just great. This is very well done, and I sure hope that you get up the ooomph to do the other seasons someday. But yes, I can imagine that the work involved would be nighmarish. This looks especially hard enough as it is!
